Host Checklist

Hosting a class is simple and rewarding!
Checklist:
  • Check your schedule and choose a Date and Time​
  • ​Complete Host Agreement
  • Create a Qualifying* Guest List
    • Please note you CAN invite current doTERRA members, however, they won't "qualify" towards your host rewards. Let me know if you have any questions about this.
    • CAN BE FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY if hosting online!!
    • *Never Enrolled as a doTERRA wholesale account member nor are a spouse of a doTERRA enrolled member
    • *Over 18 years of age
    • Work with Teacher on Online Event Page/Invite
  • Send Invitations INDIVIDUALLY In-person or Online (no mass invites, see script)
    • Sample Script: I'm so excited. We use doTERRA essential oils in our home and are amazed with how well they work for so many different things! (Share a personal experience) When I thought about those I know who would love these, I thought of you! Are you open to learning more about essential oils and natural ways of caring for yourself and your family? I'm having a class on (date) at (time). Would you like to come? If you're like me, you'd appreciate a reminder. How about I give you a quick reminder before the class?
  • Send Reminders 2 days before event and 2 hours before event (Teacher will assist with this)
  • ​Share your experience with doTERRA (and teacher) in a short statement before the event begins
  • ​Send Thank you individual online/phone messages to guests who attended

Creating Facebook Event on your Personal Profile Page

Here are the steps to creating an event on your personal Facebook page:
1. Go to your Profile page
2. Go to "MORE" 
3. Click "EVENTS"
4. Locate and Click "+ Create Event" button in the upper right corner
5. A box will pop up. You need to fill in an EVENT NAME. Use "Introduction to Essential Oils". You also need to fill in the EVENT DATE. 
6. Click "CREATE PRIVATE EVENT". You will then be sent to your event page.
7. Last step is to add me as co-host. To do this click "EDIT" button over to the right of your newly created event page and a pop up will appear again. Add me under "Co-host". Hit "SAVE" button and that's it!
​You should see BOTH OUR NAMES AS HOST. I will then go in and add a picture and description in the about section.
